A country rich in agriculture with rice begin one of her best assets, Thailand is capable of producing high quality rice and its by-products to meet export demand. It was for this reason coupled with the increasing popularity of rice and its by-products,that BANGKOK INTER FOOD CO.,LTD.,was established in 1987 to process rice and glutinous rice into flour for both local distribution and export and its products under brand names "Jade Leaf" and "Kangaroo".
1987. Established Bangkok Inter Food Co.,Ltd to produce rice flour,glutinous rice flour,Mixed flour and modified starch under the brands "Jade Leaf" and "Kangaroo"
1992. Production capacity increased 100%
1993. Introduced Special Dry Process to the existing production line of rice flour and glutinous rice flour.
1996. Added a new line - the manufacturing of starch from rice flour, glutinous rice flour and Modified starch.
1998. - Increased the production capacity of mixed flour
- Certified HALAL by the Islamic Committee Office Of Thailand
1999. - Improvements on waste water treatment from oxidation pond to anaerobic fix film system to collect methane gas which is then used in generating electricity.
- Certified HACCP by Campden & Chorleywood Food Research Association,England. - Granted Thailand's Brand from Department of Export Promotion, Ministry of Commerce
2000. Certified ISO 9001 by SGS (thailand) Limited
